Luis' 14 years in the commercial jet aircraft industry have afforded him the opportunity to develop extensive contacts with many of the world's leading airlines. Luis began his career in commercial aviation in 1994 as Regional Marketing Manager-Latin America for Cauff, Lippman Aviation.

In 2000, Luis joined AWAS and exited as Vice President of the Americas in March of 2007. At that time he joined Jet Trading and Leasing as a Principal. Luis' expertise lies in finance, technical, and sales and leasing of commercial jet aircraft. His broad-base of knowledge of The Americas and Western European airlines as well as worldwide customer relations with financial institutions, aircraft lessors and investment banks are a part of his unique skill set.

Luis' impressive personal background serves him well in the global aviation arena. He lived abroad for 16 years, in Venezuela, USA, Canada and England. His educational achievements include an MBA in Management from the University of Miami, where he received an award of academic merit and a Bachelors degree in Finance, with a minor in Real Estate Development, from Boston University. Luis, his wife Gabriela and son Luis Arturo VI reside in Miami, Florida.
